Nicknames? My name is Marcus, but most people call me Marcus

Name a person who inspires you to be a better skier?

The people sitting on the chair overhead.

What would you do if you won the lottery?

Buy an electric helicopter and a cabin.

Breakfast of champions?

Breakfast burrito.

Favorite chairlift and why?

Gad Zoom is full of some of the steepest terrain at Snowbird, and on a powder day everybody is always on the tram. You can ski powder three days after a storm on Zoom.

Ideal down day?

Beach cruising.

Fictitious character you most identify with from a book, movie, etc. and why?

Peter Pan. Never grow up!

Favorite classic ski film and why?

Beyond the Edge. Classic Warren Miller.

Highlight memory from filming with WME for this year's film?

We really tried our hardest.

How do you think the year 2020 will shape the future of skiing?

I think with lodges closed or limited, people will get back in touch with their inner ski bum. Making pocket sandwiches for the chairlift, hanging out in the parking lots, sleeping in cars.

Gear you are loving right now, on or off the ski slopes, and why?

Helly Hansen Odin Jacket. It's a simple light weight shell that keeps the elements out. It ventilates well for ski tours, but holds up to everyday poundings in the resort.

What is your vision for the future of skiing?

Pro skiers are getting paid A-rod money, and skis are less than 105mm wide.
